Rainbow Disco Club: Bali 2023

Rainbow Disco Club return to Potato Head, bringing an ensemble lineup from Japan and beyond to light up the Desa this June.

Launched in 2010, Japan’s Rainbow Disco Club is one of the world’s best-loved underground music festivals. Inclusive and immaculately curated, their annual events welcome revered worldwide DJs and producers to perform for open-minded crowds in a breathtaking festival environment. Their forthcoming appearance sees them take over the Desa for two days and nights of eclectic sounds, with some of Japan’s most revered artists and a selection of global talents playing alongside our resident DJs.

Saturday’s ticketed event takes place across the Desa. From the daytime into the night at the Beach Club, with Baltimore rhythm master Maurice Fulton, Worldwide FM resident Coco Maria and RDC residents joining local artists behind the decks. After hours, we’ll move to Studio Eksotika, where Force Of Nature’s KZA and leftfield pioneer Kenji Takimi join the pleasure crew to take the party deep into the night. As well as all this, on Saturday only, there will be a culinary takeover from Tsubame Ramen Kitchen, daylight Izakaya by Chef RuiYamagishi and RDC merchandise on sale.

On Sunday, we close the weekend with a live show at the Amphitheatre, featuring performances from London’s Mansur Brown, Esa’s Afro Synth Band, and Hokkaido-based sound designer and production maestro, Kuniyuki.

More highlights to follow. Join us to experience the magic of Rainbow Disco Club.
