Palel Atmoko is an Indonesian drummer and percussionist whose musical identity was forged in a deeply percussive traditional arts family. Rooted in the rhythms of Nusantara and shaped by the freedom of jazz, his playing bridges tradition with contemporary expression.
Following his formal music education in Bali, Palel has spent nearly two decades performing, recording, and collaborating across a wide spectrum of genres. Renowned for his powerful groove, musical sensitivity, and stylistic versatility, he has become a trusted collaborator for artists and bands including Soulfood, Lecak, Greybox, Navicula, and many others.
His performances have taken him across Asia, Europe, and Australia, where his unmistakable rhythmic voice continues to connect with audiences beyond cultural and geographical boundaries.
