**The Food**

The food menu is an invitation to explore the best locally sourced produce, showcasing easygoing flavours and delicately spiced accents. The emphasis here is on low intervention, with the inherent quality of the ingredients taking centre stage. 

The wine menu, too, has been carefully selected to present tempting natural wines and regional variants designed to appeal to both seasoned wine lovers and newcomers – each with distinct flavours selected to combine with the dishes on offer.

Sunset Park is made for get-togethers, blending tasty cocktails with irresistible bites as music floats across the panorama. The Seminyak sky provides an unmissable backdrop to an end-of-day drink or pre-dinner aperitivo — whether chatting with friends and loved ones or admiring the ocean view.

**The Experience**

Our food menu combines distinct [Indonesian flavours](https://seminyak.potatohead.co/feast/kaum) with tropical favourites from around the world, with tapas-style snacks in bite-size portions to keep you going until dinner. From cassava fries to grilled prawns served on a shiso leaf, all ingredients are sustainably sourced.

Our drinks reimagine classics with an Indonesian twist — think watermelon spritzers or martinis spiked with dragon fruit gin — using [locally-sourced spirits](https://seminyak.potatohead.co/feast/akademi) and infusing them in-house. All these and more are served in a spacious setting, with our upcycled furniture and innovative design seamlessly merging into the natural surroundings.

#### Discover the unknown flavours of Indonesia.

Indonesian restaurant showcasing recipes from over 600 of the archipelago’s islands. Translating to ‘tribe’ in Indonesian, Kaum is an authentic reflection of Indonesian ingredients, flavours and indigenous cooking methods.

#### The Story

The generational recipes featured on the menu are rarely shared outside of the islands and are considered some of the best unknown dishes around the world. From bamboo grilling, fermentation, slow cooking to caramelise, pit roasting, manual grinding, and skewer grilling, Kaum uses traditional cooking techniques to demonstrate the true breadth of [Indonesian food](https://seminyak.potatohead.co/feast/kaum).As well as enjoying new flavours, Kaum’s menu allows for learning about the geographic origins of the dishes, introducing lesser-known regions of Indonesia such as Aceh, Sulawesi and Maluku. To pair with the punchy flavours of the food, the drinks list at Kaum offers cocktails that experiment with fruit and spice-infused [local spirits](https://seminyak.potatohead.co/feast/akademi). A special line of Kaum cocktails have also been rested in handmade ceramic claypots for a month to preserve flavours and elevate smoothness.

#### The Source

Kaum works closely with small-scale and responsible food producers to procure the finest ingredients. The culinary team have travelled around the islands to develop relationships with many of Indonesia’s ethnic tribes and responsible small-scale producers, recognising their craftsmanship and the quality of their distinctive local produce. They conduct research in flavours, heritage values, and cooking techniques believing that cultural sustainability is just as important as environmental sustainability– all in order to share the magic that exists in Indonesian cooking.

The rice we serve was grown in the Heart of Bali by farmers working with Astungkara Way, a project focused on rice paddy ecosystem restoration and [regenerative](https://seminyak.potatohead.co/regenerate) farming methods.  

#### The Venue

The restaurant venue offers a contemporary and spacious setting, encouraging a lively yet relaxed ambience. Dishes are best enjoyed shared on communal tables, on the terrace overlooking the [sunset](https://seminyak.potatohead.co/feast/beach-club). Expect good music, with curated soundscapes which will transport you to the far reaches of Indonesia. Suited for both smaller and larger groups.

Don’t forget to try the sambal.

**Working closely with [local regenerative farmers](https://seminyak.potatohead.co/regenerate), we offer vegetarian food and drinks made from Bali's highest-quality produce. Our imaginative dishes are there to be enjoyed whether or not you follow a plant-based diet.**

Our plant-focused menu is centred around whole, minimally processed, unrefined, and organic plant foods in their natural state. Tanaman is all about balancing nutrition with deliciousness, focusing on [natural foods](https://seminyak.potatohead.co/feast/dome) while working with organic farmers wherever possible. Our passion for Indonesia’s diverse nature and love of experimentation drives us to make the most of our ingredients. We honour the entire plant — from root to fruit — using every part of the vegetable; with stocks, oils, flavoured salts, and ferments making sure nothing goes to waste.

The same love goes into our drinks menu, too, with cocktails and mocktails from our resident mixologist, Shafira Permata, and our sommelier’s [natural wine](https://seminyak.potatohead.co/feast/dome) recommendations providing ideal pairings to your meal.
