Mangrove Conservation
Did you know that a single mangrove tree can remove 0.3 tonnes of carbon? That is 308 kg, which is 2-4 times more than a mature rainforest tree can store and is equivalent to driving almost 1200 km in an average petrol car. By joining our mangrove conservation activity, you’ll have the chance to make a tangible impact. Start by waste-picking from a canoe to clean the area, then plant mangrove trees to help capture carbon emissions and support biodiversity

Morning Beach Clean Up
Enjoy a beach walk while helping to clean up Petitenget Beach. We start at the Desa before strolling along the beach, clearing up trash as our guides share information about Bali’s waste challenge. After the walk, we’ll head back to the Desa and visit the on-site waste facility to demonstrate how we sort and process our waste before upcycling what we can in ever more imaginative ways.
