Merasa Origins: A Knowledge Retreat

A rare chance to learn directly from Reema Datta, whose Vedic lineage was passed down through her family for generations. Her unique feminine approach to yoga, captured in her book The Yogi’s Way, centres around caring for one’s emotional wellbeing. Her teachings have resonated with the likes of Sting, Paul Simon, and humanitarian Zainab Salbi.

Across four days, she guides you through the solar and lunar energies of the Vedic tradition – sacred rituals and wisdom from her grandparents. Through daily yoga, breathwork, meditation, dance, and journaling, you’ll leave with a daily routine designed for you, something you can return to long after the retreat ends.

Four days and three nights, all-inclusive at Desa Potato Head Bali, a creative village where the setting, the food, the design, and the community all become part of how you learn.

Merasa Origins India: Four Day Pass

11 Jun 2026 — 14 Jun 2026

In India, we begin with balance.

Reema Datta grew up in a family of yogis, the granddaughter of practitioners who carried Vedic philosophy as a way of living. What she teaches today comes directly from her lineage. She is the author of The Yogi’s Way, has led retreats across more than 20 countries, and has taught Yoga with the likes of Sting and Paul Simon.

Over four days, each session unfolds through yoga, pranayama, meditation, and rituals drawn from the teachings of her grandparents – grounded in the ancient relationship between solar and lunar forces, the feminine and masculine energies within us.
