Will Goldfarb

Will Goldfarb is a dessert visionary, alchemist, and the unapologetically curious mind behind Room4Dessert. Born in New York and trained in Paris, he worked in some of the world’s most legendary kitchens — including El Bulli — before launching the original Room4Dessert in Manhattan.

After relocating to Bali, he reimagined the concept as something much bigger: a regenerative, zero-waste culinary banjar deeply rooted in local ingredients, sustainability, and storytelling.

Powder Room

A neighborhood café with a twist, Powder Room is where locals, travelers, and the Room4Dessert (R4D) team converge. It's a technicolor daydream of handmade treats — inspired by nature, memory, and mischief.

But this isn’t your typical candy store. Powder Room is a new kind of sweet shop, offering snacks that are good for the body, the planet, and the people who make them. Everything is crafted with locally grown ingredients and zero weird additives. It’s also where the philosophy of Room4Dessert becomes more accessible.

Room4Dessert

Room4Dessert is more than a restaurant — it’s a playground, a memory palace, a slightly mad science lab where flavor, form, and feeling get equal billing. Will Goldfarb’s tasting menus are rooted in Bali but wander freely through time and space — riffing on childhood nostalgia, obscure literature, edible flowers, and dessert as both idea and punchline. Local ingredients meet global references. Savory snacks give way to sugar epiphanies. Petit fours land like inside jokes. Every dish tells a story, and no two visits are the same.
