On Friday, 22 December, we launch our festive events series with Hola Mundo, featuring Paula Tape and Fantastic Man.
The event marks the Asian debut of Paula Tape’s newly launched Hola Mundo residency project – a space for unfettered musical voyaging from the Chilean artist and a hand-picked selection of her favourite guest artists. Paula Tape is known and loved for her percussion-heavy ‘electronico’ sets and carefully crafted productions, while special guest Fantastic Man is one of the most revered producers to have emerged from Melbourne’s fertile music scene in the last decade.
The duo are set to perform at Potato Head Beach Club, bringing their distinctive sounds to our oceanside home of Good Times. Joining them behind the turntables will be local hero Dita, completing a cultured lineup with her genre-defying moods and grooves.
