Potato Head Presents Floating Points / Archie b2b Danny
Beach Club
On Friday 29 December, revered producer and DJ Floating Points returns to Desa Potato Head with his far-reaching sonic selections.
Known for his immaculate productions, inspired musicality and genre-defying DJ sets, Floating Points is one of the most influential artists to have emerged from the UK’s esoteric music community in the last 15 years. Combining classical training with a profound love of jazz, he brings an uncommon musical depth to his work that helps set him apart from many of his peers. He’s the co-founder of Ego Records and has released work on labels including Ninja Tune, Phonica Records and David Byrne’s Luaka Bop.
Joining him on the lineup are local favourites and Fraktal bandmates, Archie and Danny. They’ll be bringing finely-tuned selections via a back-to-back set, incorporating diverse sounds from IDM to deep house and twisted breaks, while fellow Indonesian selector Sattle completes the stylistically adventurous bill.

Line-up Profiles
Floating Points
Sam Shepherd, AKA Floating Points, has been releasing sublime and musically rich productions since emerging in 2009. Co-founder of Eglo Records and Melodies International, his studio prowess is more than matched by the musical knowledge that informs his expansive and powerfully coherent DJ sets — gliding through jazz, soul, rare groove, disco, house and more.
Archie
Archie has been diving head-first into kaleidoscopic sounds throughout his winding and ongoing musical journey. Since his early musical introduction via the punk and experimental scenes, he’s been warmly embracing any and all musical forms that he can find a way to fit into his mental library. Archie is a key player among numerous revered musical projects, including the SCRUBS! collective in his hometown of Jakarta, and Bali-based experimental trio, Fraktal.
Danny
Danny is a DJ and producer known for his genre-blurring sets that fuse twisted breaks, raw beats, and polychromatic textures. A quiet force behind the decks, he’s helped shape East Java’s rave scene and now works from his Bali-based studio, refining his unique sound. With hardware synths and samplers, Danny explores the space between body-moving rhythms and heady electronica—music that’s both surreal and liberating. He’s one-third of experimental live act Fraktal and a key figure at Paddygrooves Radio.
Sattle
Sattle is an Indonesian-based artist from West Java. Inspired by a far-reaching blend of sounds, he’s known for his work alongside local collectives including Jam Malam, and Push/Pull, as well as his ongoing Headstream show.
