Night Moves makes a welcome return to Desa Potato Head, with the ongoing series making its first appearance of 2024 – with revered guests Job Jowbse and Interstellar Funk joining local selectors Asa Kusumah and todaysrenaissance.
De School resident and Strangelove party founder Job Jobse arrives to demonstrate just why he’s such a beloved member of the global dance community, while Dekmantel alumnus and Artifical Dance label head Interstellar Funk is an artist renowned for keeping dancers moving with his adventurous musical selections.
Job is one of the most versatile DJs around, appearing at festivals and clubs all over the world while keeping his feet firmly on the ground. He keeps the home fires burning via a longstanding residency at his beloved De School in Amsterdam and through his own ‘Strangelove’ parties – where he invites like-minded artists with whom he feels a strong musical connection.
Olf van Elden has proven his prowess time and again with the diverse sounds he’s served while exploring the fringes of the electronic universe. Recording under his Interstellar Funk, Private Eyes and Faster Action monikers, he effortlessly switches the mood, tempo, and atmosphere on labels including L.I.E.S., Berceuse Heroique, Rush Hour, Dekmantel, and his own Artificial Dance
Favouring eclectic, floor-focused tunes and possessed with a well-travelled and inquisitive mind, Asa is a selector unbound by stylistic restrictions. From tearing the roof off at underground parties or supplying vibe and ambience to Sunday sessions, his sets routinely hit all the right notes.
Best known for being the founder of beloved Bali-based party starters, PNNY, Gilang adopts his todaysrenaissance moniker to supply the house grooves that typify the vibrant sets he’s been purveying at groundbreaking events across the island and beyond since 2010.
