Headache is the collaboration between producer Vegyn and poet Francis Hornsby Clark, blending downtempo electronics, spoken word and surreal storytelling into something intimate, strange and deeply human. Alongside production work with artists such as Frank Ocean, Travis Scott and James Blake, Vegyn has built a critically acclaimed solo career and devoted following through his own records and genre defying approach to electronic music.

Their debut album, The Head Hurts but the Heart Knows the Truth, became a cult success through word of mouth alone, amassing over 19 million streams and more than 8,000 vinyl sales without traditional marketing or PR. Following the release of their second album, Thank You For Almost Everything, Headache arrives at Klymax with a rare live performance combining DJing and live instrumentation.

Opening the night is NAR, one of the names shaping Bali’s underground music landscape, moving between hip-hop, electronic music and bass-heavy rhythms with a sharp and deeply informed approach to sound. Following up is Iga Drobisz, the London, Paris and Berlin based DJ who has played at institutions including the Helmut Newton Foundation and Golden Pudel Club. We are closing the night with Fakta (Lin Manik), a Jakarta raised selector known for weaving broken beats, melancholic textures and gamelan influenced polyrhythms into emotionally charged sets. Her wide ranging sound has led to appearances alongside artists such as Vegyn, Tame Impala and Austin Millz.

Headache

Headache is the cult collaboration between producer Vegyn (Frank Ocean, Travis Scott; founder of PLZ Make It Ruins) and poet Francis Hornsby Clark, fronting hazy trip-hop with an AI-voiced English narrator. Their 2023 debut quietly amassed 19.4 million streams and 8,000 vinyl sales with zero marketing. Crack Magazine called it "one of the few music experiments with AI that actually works." Music to disappear to.

Nar.jpg
Nar

Raised in a family of musicians, Nar came up surrounded by instruments and performance. His background in audio engineering gave him a precise ear for how sound is built — and it shows. Rooted in hip-hop and electronic music, his focus sits deep in low-end, rhythm, and feel. Alongside WARMSIN', he's one of the names pushing underground music culture forward in Indonesia.

Faktta

Born and raised in Jakarta, faktta (Lin Manik) found her way to music through an unlikely pairing: drum kit and bonang gamelan. That early foundation gave her an ear for polyrhythms and off-beat syncopations that now defines her approach as a selector. Her sets sit in the shadows between genres — minor chords, broken beats, sounds that are spacious yet tight, ancient yet contemporary. She has shared stages with Vegyn, Tame Impala, and Austin Millz, and continues to build a world where time becomes fluid and music moves as a natural force.
