A Listening Session is a curated, immersive auditory experience built around the practice of deep listening. Where music has largely become ambient to daily life, this session proposes a different relationship that focuses on presence and awareness.
The founder of Tokyo’s Organic Music, Japanese DJ and curator Chee Shimizu is one of the most crucial figures in modern record culture. Organic, cosmic, groovy and floating, Shimizu’s globally-minded DJ sets are singular journeys. Vintage disco, balearic sounds, dubby grooves, deep ambient, celestial jazz and beyond—everything comes together when he is in control.
