Klymax: Xin Lie & Bagvs & Su66en9

Klymax is Potato Head's Sound Centre. Every Friday and Saturday it becomes Bali's finest room, not by reputation alone, but by design. The room was conceived by DJ Harvey. The speakers were built by George Stavro on Richard Long's blueprint, the same sonic architecture as Paradise Garage and Studio 54. The floor is sprung: four layers of wood and foam. This is not a venue with a sound system. This is a room built around one.

Nothing here was assembled to look the part. The system was built to move air the way it was meant to, the floor was built to hold a room dancing until dawn, and every detail past that point exists to protect what those two things already do. Step onto the floor and the difference is not something you're told, it's something you feel before the first track finishes.

Xin Lie

When he steps into the booth, Xin Lie brings hardcore punk energy and indigenous Sundanese influences to the sounds of contemporary club culture. Hailing from Bandung, he blends the past and the future in an invigorating style. His journey as a DJ began during his involvement in radio broadcasts by the local collective, C*SSS. Blending dogdog, a traditional single-headed tubular drum from West Java, with Ableton production, his live sets are a captivating journey through sound, where tradition meets innovation.

Bagvs

Bagvs is the moniker of Bagus Prayogo, a DJ and producer from Bandung known for his sharp curation and forward-thinking sound. His sets blend minimal textures, deep rollers, spaced-out disco, and leftfield electronica—always unpredictable, yet precise. As a producer, he’s reworked experimental icons like Senyawa (recognized by RBMA) and appeared alongside artists like Boo Williams, Kyle Hall, and Surgeon on global compilations. With a distinctive ear and singular energy, Bagvs continues carving his own path in the evolving world of electronic music.
