Klymax is Potato Head's Sound Centre. Every Friday and Saturday it becomes Bali's finest room, not by reputation alone, but by design. The room was conceived by DJ Harvey. The speakers were built by George Stavro on Richard Long's blueprint, the same sonic architecture as Paradise Garage and Studio 54. The floor is sprung: four layers of wood and foam. This is not a venue with a sound system. This is a room built around one.
Nothing here was assembled to look the part. The system was built to move air the way it was meant to, the floor was built to hold a room dancing until dawn, and every detail past that point exists to protect what those two things already do. Step onto the floor and the difference is not something you're told, it's something you feel before the first track finishes.
Ega is a Jakarta-based DJ whose sound is shaped by house, disco, and everything in between. As a member of Glasloop Collective, he keeps his sets open and flexible, with careful transitions, unexpected shifts, and a clear sense of momentum throughout. Inspired by Enzo Elia, Chrome Sparks, and Masters At Work, Ega can be found playing daylight sets, late-night sessions and international support slots. Context regardless, his DJing is always open, agile and adventurous.
Givanka
Givanka’s classy, full-spectrum house, techno, and electro selections resonate from Jakarta to Bali. Currently working full-time at ZODIAC Jakarta, he has had the honour of playing alongside KZA, Alan Dixon, Cormac, and Alex Kassian. Givanka is also one-quarter of Glasloop, a collective that has brought the likes of Sophie McAlister, Reptant, Gonno, Evan Baggs, Helena Hauff, and Ani Phoebe to Jakarta and Bandung. When he’s in the DJ booth, his love of futuristic machine beats shines through.
Raynaldi
Intuitive, energetic and responsive, Raynaldi’s acid-soaked techno, bass and breaks productions and DJ sets are a live response to the dancefloor. A core member of the Glasloop collective, he’s spent eight years helping shape Bandung, Jakarta and Bali’s underground electronica scenes. Beyond the booth, he has contributed his productions to local compilations, including Xiblinx’s Wobb Wango Wobb and Non Archive’s ARSIP 001. Raynaldi is a member of Jakarta’s Glasloop collective. He runs Far Far Away, a mini festival in Bandung.
