Klymax is Potato Head's Sound Centre. Every Friday and Saturday it becomes Bali's finest room, not by reputation alone, but by design. The room was conceived by DJ Harvey. The speakers were built by George Stavro on Richard Long's blueprint, the same sonic architecture as Paradise Garage and Studio 54. The floor is sprung: four layers of wood and foam. This is not a venue with a sound system. This is a room built around one.

Nothing here was assembled to look the part. The system was built to move air the way it was meant to, the floor was built to hold a room dancing until dawn, and every detail past that point exists to protect what those two things already do. Step onto the floor and the difference is not something you're told, it's something you feel before the first track finishes.

Aditya Permana

Aditya Permana is a Jakarta-based musician and DJ with a passion for synths, analog drums, and mature, challenging approaches to sound. Co-founder of the Dekadenz club night and record label, Aditya’s releases for the Indonesian imprint range from dub post-punk and proto-house to weird disco, all reshaped in his own intense style.

Jonathan Kusuma

Dekadenz co-founder Jonathan Kusuma blends hypnotic grooves, proto-techno influences, and darker, more atmospheric elements into late-night soundscapes shaped by a life lived in music. Based in Jakarta, he honed his skills as a musician, producer, and DJ while spending two years in Singapore before returning home with a passion for contributing to the underground scene in an honest, thoughtful way. In recent years, Kusuma has released music through Cocktail d’Amore, Sound Metaphors, and Minh.

Ridwan

Since the early 2000s, Dekadenz co-founder Ridwan has been a central figure in Jakarta’s growing electronic music community, sharing acid, post-punk, private press disco, electro, house and techno with audiences along the way. After discovering record collecting, the rave scene and club culture while studying in San Francisco, Ridwan returned home and began building his reputation as an event organiser, DJ and nightclub operator—respect the unexpected.
