Kasyfi Kalyasyena is a 24-year-old jazz pianist and composer who recently returned to Indonesia after graduating from Codarts University of the Arts and performing across Europe. A storyteller at heart, he has graced prestigious stages like the North Sea Jazz Festival and the Kennedy Center, where he performed as a 2019 VSA International Young Soloist winner. His debut album, Signature, earned an AMI Award nomination for its blend of original compositions and Indonesian folk influences.

Now active in Jakarta and Bali, Kasyfi is a sought-after session musician for artists like Sandhy Sondoro while leading his own ensembles. On April 18 at DOME, he will lead the Kasyfi Kalyasyena Trio in a performance featuring original music and jazz standards. For Kasyfi, music is a medium for honest storytelling, prioritizing emotional connection and collaboration with his close-knit musical community.
