Bay 1 stocks souvenirs made by independent craftspeople across Indonesia. The shelves hold traditional objects—handwoven baskets, batik textiles, hand-thrown ceramics—alongside contemporary ones: vinyl records, jewelry, small design objects. Makers are named. You can find out who made what, and where they're from.
Bay 1 - Our Souvenirs

The selection runs across four categories. Wellness covers locally produced skincare, herbal blends, and objects that slow you down—incense, meditation tools, linen. Food means artisanal spices, single-origin coffee, chocolate, and kitchen tools made to use rather than display. Music is curated vinyl: Indonesian jazz, gamelan recordings, ambient albums the staff selected themselves. Design includes tableware, textiles, and home objects from makers you can track down after you leave.

Picking something here takes longer than it should, and that's the point. You read the label. You handle the thing. A handwoven basket carries the weaver's name. A record has liner notes about the artist. A ceramic cup has a story about the kiln. You leave with context, not just cargo.
